Nicole Rosendale MD

After completing residency and fellowship training at UC San Francisco, Nicole Rosendale joined the faculty in the Neurohospitalist Division of the Department of Neurology at UCSF in 2017. She primarily attends on the teaching service at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital on the neurology ward and consult services. Aside from clinical duties, Nicole Rosendale is dedicated to expanding the understanding of health disparities within neurology, particularly in regard to sexual and gender minority health. She is the Vice-Chair of the American Academy of Neurology LGBTQI Section, and a topic specific expert with The Pride Study. In addition to clinical research looking at access to neurologic care and health outcomes for underserved communities, she is also passionate about medical education reform, and has created an integrated curriculum for neurology trainees focusing on issues of diversity relevant to the local community, which is ongoing at UCSF.
