Nicolas Barthélemy PhD

Dr. Barthélemy is Research Instructor in Neurology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and is currently Alzheimer’s Association Research fellow. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Strasbourg. He specializes in protein characterization and quantitation by mass spectrometry. He accomplished two post-doctoral positions focusing on the design of CSF tau assays using targeted mass spectrometry at the French Commissary for Atomic Energy in Saclay (DSV/SPI/LEMM) then at the CHU Montpellier (Sylvain Lehmann’s laboratory). He joined Randy Bateman’s laboratory as Postdoctoral Associate in 2015 and has pursued his research on tau protein implication in Alzheimer Disease and others tauopathies.
