Eoin P. Flanagan MB, BCh
Dr. Eoin Flanagan is an Associate Professor of Neurology and Consultant in the Departments of Neurology and Laboratory Medicine and Pathology at the Mayo Clinic, Rochester, Minnesota in the USA. He completed his medical school training at University College Dublin in Ireland and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland in 2008 after working as a junior doctor for 3 years. He then completed neurology residency at Mayo Clinic (Rochester, MN) and became board certified in neurology in the USA. He is fellowship trained in autoimmune neurology, multiple sclerosis and behavioral neurology, all completed at Mayo Clinic. He received a Master’s degree in clinical and translational science from the Mayo Graduate School of Medical Education. He works in the Autoimmune and Multiple Sclerosis Neurology Clinic and the Neuroimmunology Laboratory at the Mayo Clinic. His clinical expertise and research is focused on the diagnosis and management of autoimmune neurological disorders with an emphasis on inflammatory autoimmune spinal cord disorders and their mimics including their MRI patterns. He also has an interest in the epidemiology of inflammatory demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system and autoimmune neurologic disorders.
