Charles C. Flippen II, MD, FAAN, FANA is the Richard and Ruth Walter Professor of Neurology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA (DGSOM) where he is the Director of the neurology residency training program. He is a director on the board of the American Academy of Neurology where he serves as Secretary-Treasurer of the AAN Institute and represents the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology on the Neurology Residency Review Committee (RCC) of the Accreditation Council of Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). Dr. Flippen serves on several intramural committees at the DGSOM on issues related to equity and inclusion including the Diversity Oversight committee charged with monitoring implementation of the School of Medicine diversity strategic plan. Dr. Flippen is also a member of the Goldberg Migraine Research and Treatment Program, a noted lecturer on headache medicine having directed courses at national meetings on the subject.
