Anli A. Liu MD

Dr. Anli Liu is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at NYU Langone Medical Center where she treats patients with epilepsy and memory disorders. Her lab focuses on understanding the mechanisms of memory dysfunction in epilepsy, the role of sleep in memory consolidation, and the development of methods in neuromodulation to remediate memory dysfunction and treat seizures. She received her BA from Stanford University, her MA from UC Berkeley, and her MD from UC San Francisco. She completed her internship and residency at Weill Cornell Medical College of Cornell University followed by Fellowships in Clinical Neurophysiology and Cognitive Neurology at Harvard Medical School. She has received research support from the NIH-NIMH, NINDS, American Epilepsy Society, Epilepsy Foundation, American Brain Foundation, Leon Levy Foundation, Doris Duke Foundation, and the Feldstein Medical Foundation. She is also a recipient of the NIH-NINDS K23 Career Development Award.
